Northrop Grumman's Defense Systems sector is looking for a Program Manager 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Woodlawn, MD.
Put your years of experience in Program Management into a future of excellence by joining a Northrop Grumman Team delivering cutting-edge technology solutions to our clients. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Health Solutions Management division and focus on Healthcare IT solutions for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Management (CMS) and Social Security Administration (SSA). The applicant will manage a major current program, which is an enterprise-scale big data and predictive analytics platform.
The Program Manager 3 shall be responsible for planning and delivering contracted services according to the contract
Roles and Responsibilities:
Work and communicate with senior Government personnel to ensure smooth and effective technical solutions
Work with Product Management to ensure solution continues to evolve with emerging analytical tools and increases ROI to the customer
Manage Data Center and Operations staff to achieve/maintain continuous delivery
Provide effective oversight and management to subcontractor organizations/staff in addition to NG staff
Build, execute, and manage the Project Management Plan (PMP) to include integration, scope, risks, quality, communication, subcontractor, and Human Resources management
Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives
Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients
Ensure adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables
Responsible for day-to-day management and escalation of project risks and issues
Provide managerial assistance in the areas of: goal setting, prioritizing, employee performance assessments & corrective actions, training development/conduct and coordination and execution of meeting
Program technical oversight, including related risk management
Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
Oversee Functional Requirement and Change Request Processes and make recommendations for improvement
Manage the project's costs, budget and schedule to include Earned Value Management Systems
Ensure compliance with security program and policies
