Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in Woodland Hills, CA is currently seeking a Principal or Senior Principal Signal/Image Processing Engineer with a current/active Top Secret clearance to support radar exploitation and signal processing activities in the Artificial Intelligence and Analytics department.
In this role, the selected candidate will join a group developing algorithms for a novel radar capability. In this position you will perform analyses at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, algorithm development, prototyping, implementation, and test. The position requires familiarity with radar remote sensing and classical signal processing techniques.
Specific responsibilities include:
Determining reuse possibilities, or conceptualizing novel algorithms
Designing and rapidly prototyping implementation
Designing a robust test suite
Creating presentation material to explain and document work, and presenting to internal and external stakeholders
This position is contingent upon clearance and special program access.

Salary Range: $115,200 - $172,800
Salary Range 2: $142,800 - $214,200
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
