Northrop Grumman Intelligence Specialist / Flight Simulation Trainer 4 in Whiteman AFB, Missouri
Northrop Grumman Technical Services is seeking an Intelligence Specialist / Flight Simulation Trainer to join our B-2 training team at Whiteman AFB, MO. The qualified applicant can become part of Northrop Grumman's Aircrew Training team tasked with instructing B-2 aircrew in the classroom and in aircrew trainers. The classroom and training device instruction supports B-2 pilot initial qualification (IQT), requalification (RQT), basic qualification (BQT) and continuation training. The position will provide intelligence expertise to ensure WST missions deliver scenarios that are consistent with current threats. He/she will plan, validate, and verify realistic threat order of battle data in training missions for the weapon system trainer (WST), assist the Mission/Exercise facilitators in the execution of individual and federated missions by managing threat operations, perform post mission analysis and debrief threat engagements for the aircrew. Also he/she will develop, review, revise, and evaluate courseware and training materials for advanced aircrew training.
Bachelors' Degree and 10 years' of directly related work experience; or Masters' and 8 years' of directly relatedwork experience; or an additional 4 years of work experience may be substituted in lieu of the degree
U.S. citizenship is required
Active DOD Secret level security clearance is required. The ability to meet/maintain eligibility for Top Secret and special access programs is required for continued employment.
Minimum of 5 years' experience working with IADS composition and performance is required
Minimum of 5 years' experience with "breaking out" Air Tasking and Air Coordination Orders and developing threat roles for WST missions is required.
Working knowledge of all regulations, instructions, procedures, technical orders, and other publications applicable to the candidate's previous mission experience is required.
The ability to operate the WST instructor operator station (IOS) and facilitate simulator missions is required.
Top Secret DOD clearance
Previous experience as a B-2 intelligence analyst.
Experience in mission planning and STRIKEOPS.
Platform instructor experience and experience in curriculum and Instructional System Development (ISD) is a plus.
