Develop and execute the installation of B-2 Bomber upgrades by the Northrop Grumman modification team.Analyze and design sequence of operations and work flow to improve efficiency.Assist with the creation of shop operating plans, provide job and zone specific tier schedules to reflect critical path, shop operating budget and manning requirements.Provide daily production requirements to shop floor supervisors.Create recovery and work-around plans as required.Provide analysis of performance data, and perform time studies as needed to identify improvement opportunities and ensure accurate values are forecasted. Update, distribute and present to the team weekly visual graphics & metrics that reflect schedule, cost, quality performance; action items and job delays.Assist in conducting business case analysis for facility modifications, equipment or tooling purchases, and staffing requirements to optimize mod team performance.
Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering or similar engineering degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience
Experience with engineering program focused on process flows, manufacturing principles and production operations.
Must be capable of performing master scheduling, tier scheduling, and critical path method scheduling techniques with minimal training.
Detailed understanding of MS-Office products, especially MS-Excel and MS-Project.
Able to collaborate in a team environment
Candidate must meet the eligibility requirements for a DoD Secret security clearance and additional program clearances to continue employment.
Able to perform work in an approved environment during specified work hours
Ability to change physical locations based upon need (including physical ability to travel)
Able to work in both external and internal environmental conditions.
- Experience with manpower modeling and simulation, active secret clearance, experience in Aerospace and MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul), project management, and familiarity with Department of Defense contract requirements.
