Are you ready to put your knowledge and experience to work at Northrop Grumman? If so, we need you to join our team as a SCA Electronics Maintenance Technician 3 to expand our growing team in Warner Robins, Georgia.

Your Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Applies advanced technical knowledge to solve complex problems that typically cannot be solved solely by referencing manufacturers' manuals or similar documents, such as:

  • Determining the location and density of circuitry

  • Evaluating electromagnetic radiation

  • Isolating malfunctions to component level

  • Incorporating engineering

  • Exercises independent judgment in performing such tasks as:

  • Making circuit analyses

  • Calculating wave forms

  • Tracing relationships in signal flow

  • Uses complex test instruments such as:

  • High frequency pulse generators

  • Frequency synthesizers

  • Distortion analyzers

  • Complex computer control equipment

  • Work may be reviewed by supervisor for general compliance with accepted practices

  • May provide technical guidance to lower level technicians

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have an Associate's degree or appropriate Military Occupational Specialty in electronics repair (or related field) with a minimum of 8 years of electronics / electrical repair experience to component level (I-Level, Back Shop, etc...)

  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Security clearance

  • Must be able to work multiple shifts and hours

  • Must be able to work on-site in Warner Robins, Georgia

  • Computer skills including proficiency with MS Word and Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of military avionics system depot repair experience

  • Work experience in manufacturing automated test equipment

  • An in-depth understanding of the interrelationships of circuits

  • Excellent record keeping skills

  • Experience with scheduling multiple items

  • Experience interacting with customers / vendors

  • Experience with RF circuits and systems
