Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Principal Systems Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Warner Robins, GA .

Essential Functions:

• Support system requirements development, management, analysis, and traceability, to translate customer requirements and CONOPS into systems requirements, and further allocate to lower level requirements.

• Perform functional analysis and systems trade studies for technical solutions with respect to concept, design, test, installation, operation, and maintenance.

• Assist with the generation of well-defined and executable system and subsystem requirements documents, interface documents, and test and verification documents.

• Support system/subsystems integration, test, and requirements verification activities.

• Support system technical performance measurement definition and tracking.

• Support the preparation of system engineering materials during System Requirements Review, Design Review, Verification Review, Test Readiness Review, and other program reviews as needed.

• Interface with inter-organizational management and external Customer to communicate technical briefing and program status.

• Support Program Management activities to ensure cost and schedule objectives are met.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) related discipline and 5 Years of engineering experience OR 3 years of engineering experience with Masters in STEM OR 0 Years of engineering experience with a PhD in STEM

  • Must have an Active In-scope DoD Secret Security Clearance that has been granted / renewed within the past 6 years
