Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Sr. Principal Cloud Architect to support the Revolutionary IT Services program at the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) in Vicksburg MS.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Designs and defines system architecture for new or existing complex computer systems.

• Determines systems specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility and maintenance of system security.

• Coordinates design of subsystems and integration of total system. Identifies, analyzes, and resolves program support deficiencies.

• Develops and recommends corrective actions. May provide technical guidance for database administrators and software developers.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or relevant field and a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience.

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience designing, executing and supporting IT cloud solutions managment, operations, and restoration.

  • Must possess an Active Top Secret security clearance. US citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience designing, executing and supporting IT cloud solutions managment, operations, and restoration.

  • Expertise in dynamic cloud migrations
