Northrop Grumman Technology Services sector is seeking a Production Planning and Scheduler 2 to join our growing team of qualified, diverse individuals at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma . The selected candidate will become part of a Northrop Grumman team of professionals who are actively designing and developing avionics test bench and specialized lab equipment in an avionics test and development laboratory.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the Lab Action Request system. This system receives various lab requests from our customer, which require technical evaluation for follow-on coordination within our group (Lab Engineering, Computer Operations, Material Management, Manufacturing, and Operations)

  • Evaluates and interprets metrics of this system for group performance objectives

  • Performs parts & components research and submit selections and alternatives that will meet cost objectives of our projects

  • Evaluates parts for obsolescence

  • Determine the build schedule and prioritize across several contracts to ensure the IPT meets the deliverables

  • Provide evaluation of Automated Information System components for compliance with local information security policies to Lab Engineering. This is to include:

  • Consultingwith vendors for Certificates of Volatility

  • Preparing associated documentation for hardware and software requests for approval for use in a classified facility

  • Provide feedback toproject management in developing Basis of Estimates for future work and proposals

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree or 1+ years of relevant experience with a Master's degree

  • Must have active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) secret security clearance (or higher)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications for use in project update meetings

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge or experience with Department of Defense contracts

  • Knowledge or experience with operations in an avionics software lab

  • Experience coordinating between several stake holder groups (Computer / network Operations, Lab Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, etc.).
