Northrop Grumman Quality Analyst 3/4 in Sunnyvale, California

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Sector is seeking a Quality Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals located at Sunnyvale, CA. The Quality Analyst will support the Quality & Mission Excellence organization within the Marine Systems business unit at the Sunnyvale California location; a key element of the Navigation & Maritime Systems Division (N&MSD). Marine Systems designs, builds, tests, and supports Power & Propulsion Systems and Launch Systems for the US Navy and allies of the US.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Initiate Corrective Action Plans and work with other functional organizations to ensure robust corrective actions are implemented.

  • Perform process audits.

  • Perform process management by analyzing performance data, and identifying opportunities for improvement.

  • Be able to analyze and present data to management and the Mission Assurance Director.

  • Perform QMS compliance audits to meet certification requirements.

  • Analyze program performance information in support of independent reviews.

  • Assist with the identification and management of program risks.

  • Assist in support of customer quality engagements.

  • Assist with the development and preparation of quality performance metrics and records.

  • Support Program Quality on preparing quality inputs to the business acquisition process (BAP).

  • Assist with the establishment and implementation of controls and processes.

  • Assist with the development of data to support verification activities.

MAQEA

Basic Qualifications for level 3:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 6+ years of experience developing, collecting, and analyzing metrics, or 10+ years of experience in lieu of degree.

  • Strong communication skills (both oral and written).

  • US Citizenship required.

Basic Qualifications for level 4:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years of experience developing, collecting, and analyzing metrics, or 14+ years of experience in lieu of degree.

  • Strong communication skills (both oral and written).

  • US Citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • DOD Secret Clearance.

  • Six Sigma or Lean certifications.

  • ASQE experience with statistical process control, auditing to ISO 9001.

  • Experience with earned value management.
