Northrop Grumman Technology Services sector is seeking a Network Engineer 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Springfield, VA. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's US Department of State (DOS), Information Resource Management (IRM) Service Strategy Office (SSO) team. This is a contract to provide the US Department of State with highly-skilled, qualified and specialized design, engineering, and implementing solutions consistent with multilevel security (MLS) requirements.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Configure and maintain Multilevel Security (MLS) environment ensuring user access is limited to a need to know
Gather and organize information relative to stakeholder organization goals and needs
Evaluate existing security products and technology trend within the Multilevel Security environment
Conduct risk analyses and risk assessments
Develop SOPs and security standards support MLS operations
Work with stakeholder community to determine network requirements
Working with large enterprise WAN network designs (BGP and OSPF)
Develop and document requirements to support system designs and reviews
Configure network Cisco routers and switches
Remotely turn up and test network equipment and connectivity
Troubleshoot remote network sites
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
Bachelor's Degree in a STEM area and 5 years' experience.
Experience with Cisco products providing design and engineering solutions
Must have experience with configuring, implementing and maintaining Multilevel Security Level solutions.
Ability to conduct risk analysis and assessments
Ability to collect business requirements and to develop technical solutions.
Active Top Secret clearance
