Northrop Grumman Technology Services sector is looking for an experienced senior Systems Engineer to join our team. Join us as we focus on the support of The Unmanned Systems Integration Center in Sierra Vista, Arizona.

The duties of this position will include, but are not limited to performing technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.

This senior position ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. The chosen applicant will perform functional analyses, timeline analyses, detailed trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Basic Qualifications:

9 Years experience with Bachelors in Science; 7 Years with Masters; 4 Years with PhD

At least 5 years of relevant experience in general avionics

At least 5 years in aircraft subsystems (e.g., propulsion, flight control, electrical power distribution)

Demonstrated knowledge of embedded software

An active Interim Secret Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

Development and operation of an Army Ground Control Station (GCS), to include the integration of command and control

Familiarity with the integration of military datalink to include TCDL and/or SATCOM for command and control applications

Definition and integration of GPS and navigation on aircraft
