Northrop Grumman Defense Services is seeking a Stock Clerk 2 to join its team of qualified, diverse professionals engaged in supporting dynamic, complex, and challenging programs.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Performs a combination of manual and clerical duties to receive, store, and issue equipment, materials, and supplies in a central warehouse
Examine stock to verify conformance to specifications and invoices; stores articles according to identifying factors
Fill orders or issue supplies from stock
Requisition stock to fill incoming orders
Prepares stock use reports
Determine methods or places for storage considering guidelines for temperature, humidity, weight or height limits, turnover, floor loading capacity, and required space
Basic Qualifications:
High School and 2 years additional education and/or experience in a stockroom, warehouse, or manufacturing setting
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Must be able to obtain a DoD Security Clearance
Must be detail oriented and have a strong work ethic.
Must be able to learn and follow established processes, procedures, and requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent interpersonal skills
Prior stockroom and SAP experience
Active DoD Security Clearance
Able to operate heavy machinery (Forklift etc.)
Familiarity with IATA IMDG and 49CFR Hazmat requirements
Salary Range: $35,300 - $58,900
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
