Northrop Grumman Property Administrator 3 in Schriever AFB, Colorado

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Sector is seeking a Property Administrator - Level 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Colorado Springs, Co. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Missions Systems Division Property Management Office, working under the direction of the SWDC Property Manager, supporting the property management needs of the Specialized Warfighter Development Contract (SWDC) at Schriever Air Force Base, CO.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Coordinate property control activities to ensure continual accountability of government and company property in accordance with applicable government regulations and corporate policy. Maintain accurate property accountability files and records in a centralized property management system. Conduct internal property audits and provide guidance on governmental regulations pertaining to property accountability to the program. Assist in arranging for disposal of surplus or obsolete material or equipment. Prepare periodic general and special purpose reports. Support multiple property focal points/task orders on the SWDC contract Occasional travel may be required to support inventories/audits at various customer sites.

Minimum Requirements:

Knowledge, Skills and Ability

Complete understanding and application of principles, concepts, practices, and standards. Full knowledge of industry practices. Independently demonstrates the skill and ability to perform fairly complex professional tasks.

Prior Property Management experience

Basic FAR and DFAR experience

  • Familiarity with basic contract requirements eagerness and willingness to learn rapidly

  • Solid written and verbal communication skills

Problem Solving

Develop solutions to a variety of complex problems. May refer to established precedents and policies.


Performs fairly complex tasks and participates in determining objectives of assignment. Plan schedules and arranges own activities in accomplishing objectives. Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives.


Exerts some influence on the overall objectives and long-range goals of the organization. Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve objectives would normally have a serious effect upon the administration of the organization.


Represents organization as a alternate contact on the SWDC contract. Interacts with internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8 years experience with Associates degree; 6 years with Bachelors degree; 4 years with Masters degree.

  • Prior Property Management experience

  • Active secret clearanceBasic FAR and DFAR experience

  • Familiarity with basic contract requirements eagerness and willingness to learn rapidly

Preferred Requirements:

  • Professional Property Management Certification

  • Extensive Experience with AssetSmart and SAP Databases
