This position is for a Deputy Product Line Lead to support the Overhead Persistent InfraRed (OPIR) Organization on the SWDC program at Schriever AFB, CO. The Deputy OPIR Product Lead will assist in guiding a team of 40+ operators, software developers, analysts, system administrators, and cybersecurity engineers in the planning, preparation, execution and analysis of Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Ground Tests and Flight Tests.
Primary duties include: technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk assessment, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total OPIR systems. Analyses are performed at all levels to include: concept, design, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and post-test results. The selected candidate shall ensure OPIR programmatic status and performance is clearly communicated to upper management and Government customers via a series of detailed Program Management Review (PMR) briefings, Integrated Program Management Review (IPMR) cost and schedule assessments, and Contract Requirements Traceability Matrix (CRTM) artifacts. The Deputy OPIR Product Lead will be responsible for coordination and statusing across functional teams within the OPIR organization interfacing with the Functional Leads to manage the OPIR mission.
Secondary duties include: serving as the acting OPIR Product Lead when the Product Lead is out-of-the-office and briefing Government customers, SWDC teammates, business partners, and external liaisons on OPIR capabilities, needs, and project statuses.
Special focus will be made in technical acumen, cost and Earned Value experience, reporting accuracy, and attention to detail.

A bachelor's of science degree in a science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM) discipline and at least 10 years of experience.
3 years experience managing programs or supervising teams.
Detailed working knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) practices.
Skilled at Risk Management.
Ability to maintain and follow documented processes and procedures.
Strong communications skills, both verbal and written.
Advanced knowledge of MS PowerPoint and MS Excel.
Able to work in a multi-tasking environment.
DoD Final Secret clearance.
Previous Control Account Management (CAM) experience.
Experience with Agile methodologies and working with Scrums.
Detailed working knowledge of BOA performance/execution.
Detailed working knowledge of SBIRS performance/execution.
Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy in presentations.
Salary Minimum for Colorado location: $ 127,760
Salary Maximum for Colorado location: $ 191,640
