The Advanced Mission Solutions ES&T team at Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is looking for you to join our team as a Manager Systems Engineering 2 based out of Colorado Springs, CO (Schriever AFB).
This management position will be performed in conjunction with a Specialized Warfighter Development Contract (SWDC) program role at Schriever AFB. The successful candidate will already have a current SWDC contract role or have been selected for a contract role.

Technical contributor or manager in a Specialized Warfighter Development Contract program role as part of the AMS ES&T management team.
Functional oversight for a team of systems engineers of varied disciplines.
Staffing and workload forecasting; employee inclusion, engagement, mentoring and career development; employee training and identification and training of skills required to execute on programs.
Recruiting, sourcing, onboarding, performance management and contract maintenance for contractors working in the business area as required.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering or related field discipline (10 years domain/technical experience in lieu of a degree) and a minimum of8 years related experience;6 years of related experience with a Masters;4 years of related experience with a PhD.
Must be experienced in all aspects of the engineering development lifecycle
Must have at least 3 years' experience in support of software development
Proven demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
At least 2 years in a systems engineering technical leadership role
Supervisory experience over systems engineers
Effective communication and presentation skills.
High proficiency of technical problem solving.
This position requires the applicant to be a U.S. citizen and have at a minimum an active Secret clearance or higher
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have :
Master of Science in Engineering or other STEM discipline
Model and Simulation development experience
Knowledge of Northrop Grumman engineering and personnel management policies
Three or more years of supervisory experience
Prior engineering experience in support of the Ballistic Missile Defense System
Active Top Secret/SCI clearance
