Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Sector seeks a Supply Chain Planning Analyst 3 at the Rancho Carmel San Diego, CA location.
The Supply Chain Planning Analyst (SCPA) will provide support to the Program team to evaluate material and equipment requirements throughout the life of a program.
Roles and Responsibilities:
-Candidate must understand the all aspects of SCM - materials management, procurement, subcontracts, cost budgets and supplier quality to support engineering, production, logistics in the performance of their roles and responsibilities.
-In proposal phase, the SCPA will work with the Program team during the pricing of all material requirements, prepare proposal pricing inputs and support the team in the development of supplier capabilities, risk profiles, and presentations.
-In execution phase, the SCPA will be responsible for collaboration
with entire SCM organization to monitor and provide status of material needed to support manufacturing.
-The SCPA will monitor and report on the cost and schedule and quality performance for the program.
-The SCPA may be also responsible for the oversight of supply chain activities being performed on multiple programs.
Bachelor's Degree & 6 years of experience in supply chain or related field or 4 years in supply chain or related with Master's Degree and a Minimum of 4+ years demonstrated success/problem solving skills in supply chain, business management, operations, logistics, engineering or program management
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and SAP.
Demonstrated leadership success and ability to influence direct reports, interact with peers and all levels of management
in the organization.
Highly effective interpersonal skills, commitment to fostering an engaging environment for others and excellent
Ability to obtain a DoD government security clearance. US Citizenship required.
Previous experience in managing supply chain on large electronic production programs.
Working knowledge of Federal and Defense contracting requirements including ITAR and FAR/DFARS.
Demonstrated experience with developing complex agreements such as long term agreements, teaming agreements,
strategic alliances, MOAs, overriding Terms and conditions, claims and settlements.
Demonstrated working knowledge of earned value management systems, supplier financial reporting/forecasting,
contracting/subcontracting, or supplier/ program/product scheduling.
Demonstrated success in managing complex supplier specifications, drawings, SOW's and supplier issue resolution
