Northrop Grumman Mission Systems sector is seeking a candidate to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The position will be part of a growing, inclusive team at our Rancho Carmel location. The ideal candidate performs a combination of manual and clerical duties to receive, store, and issue equipment, materials, and supplies in a central warehouse.

Work schedule: 5:30 am - 3:00 pm 9/80 A schedule.

What You'll Get to Do:

  • Performs a combination of manual and clerical duties to receive, store, and issue equipment, materials, and supplies in a central warehouse.

  • Examines stock to verify conformance and quantity; stores articles according to identifying factors; fills orders or issues supplies from stock; requisitions stock to fill incoming orders; and prepares various stock reports.

  • Kit various material.

  • Transfer Material to various locations.

  • Scrap Material.

  • Conduct Cycle Counts.

  • Inventory Adjustment.

  • Contract Closeouts.

  • Wall to wall inventory.

  • Parts and material pick-up and delivery.

  • Job plan material kitting/staging.

  • Develops or improves inventory process procedures.

  • Demonstrates strong communication skills and ability to work successfully with multiple stakeholders such as planning, manufacturing, shipping, receiving, and quality assurance.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or related experience (education verified).

  • Valid State Driver's License.

  • Ability to continuously stand and walk for extended periods and perform physical work on a regular basis.

  • Operate a 3-ton box truck

  • Operate a forklift

  • Ability to lift 30 lbs.

  • Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook, SAP, and Salumina.

  • Ability to get a Secret Clearance, which requires US Citizenship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience working in stockroom, inventory management, receiving, and shipping capacity.

  • SAP experience

Salary Range: $39,900 - $66,500

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
