Northrop Grumman Missions Systems is seeking a Stock Clerk 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position would be located at the Rancho Carmel facility in San Diego and would be joining our Manufacturing Team on 1st shift.

The Stock Clerk 2 performs a combination of manual and clerical duties to receive, store, and count materials, and supplies in a central warehouse. The main duty and responsibility is to:

  • Perform daily/weekly/monthly cycle counts.

Duties and responsibilities may also include:

  • Examine stock to verify conformance to specifications and invoices; stores articles according to identifying factors.

  • Fill orders or issue supplies from stock

  • Perform daily/weekly/monthly cycle counts.

  • Requisition stock to fill incoming orders.

  • Prepares stock use reports.

  • Determine methods or places for storage considering guidelines for temperature, humidity, weight or height limits, turnover, floor loading capacity, and required space.




Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED and 2 years additional education and/or experience in a stockroom, warehouse, or manufacturing setting.

  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel.

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

  • Must be able to obtain a DoD Security Clearance which requires US citizenship.

  • Must be able to operate PIE such as electric pallet jack or forklift.

  • Must be detail oriented and have a strong work ethic.

  • Must be able to learn and follow established processes, procedures, and requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Prior stockroom experience

  • Experience with SAP.
