Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Property Adminstrator to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Palmdale, CA. Our team is looking for a highly-motivated senior-level Property Manager who is a self-starter. This position will require up to 40% travel in support of another program site.
Administers property control program activities to ensure continual accountability of government, associate contractor, or company property in accordance with applicable government regulations or corporate policy.
Maintains property accountability records and determines condition and arranges disposal of surplus or obsolete material or equipment.
Contacts potential users and negotiates transfers.
Conducts property audits; provides guidance on government regulations pertaining to property accountability; develops, recommends, and implements property administration policy; and prepares periodic and special purpose reports relative to such matters as taxes, rentals and leasing, insurance, facility usage, etc.
The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, collaborative/team settings across all levels.
Must have 10 years of Aerospace or Property/Facilities Control Experience or 8 years of experience with a Master's Degree.
Must have experience in Propery Management
An active in-scope DoD Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain program access.
Willingness to travel up to 40%.
Experience with rack-mounted computer systems.
Excellent 2-way communication skills (upward and downward)
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management
Active, In scope DoD Top Secret with Special Program Access.
