Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Global Mission Excellence & Logistics Development Lead (Mgr Programs Level 2) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in San Diego.

Under the direction and leadership of the Global Mission Excellence & Logistics (GME&L) Global Hawk Platform Lead, the Product Support (PS)Development Lead will work with the Lead to ensure quality lifecycle development and sustainment products and services are executed in accordance with the Program Statement of Work (SOW) and are within budget, schedule constraints, and closure criteria. This individual may lead internal and external Teammates/Suppliers to ensure Program Performance, cost/schedule and quality objectives are achieved. He/she will also collaborate with the Service Center Managers for resources, processes and procedures applicable to the Program GME&L team to deliver on the program SOW, including Cost, Schedule, Performance and Quality.This leader will ensure technical coordination between other non-GME&L Program IPTs.The GME&L Global Hawk PS Development Lead may interface with the Customer Program Office, Program Leaders, Autonomous Systems GME&L Business Operations/Integration, and GME&L Service Centers to shape future requirements and ensure that contracted requirements defined by the SOW are achieved within budget, schedule, quality and closure criteria. He/she may also oversee and at times lead preparation of presentation materials to support Program Reviews (TRR, IBR, SRA, OA, TIMs, etc.).Additionally, this individual may oversee the organization's input to Change Board Activity such as Technical Review Board, Configuration Control Board, and Joint CCBs and will have oversight of what is presented in change packages as necessary.This Leader will assist the lead with oversight of Risk and Opportunity, Cost, Schedule, and Technical Performance of the Global Hawk GME&L platform and must closely collaborate with peers within GME&L and at the consummate levels of Integrated Product Teams outside of the GME&L organization.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Management, Business, Logistics, or STEM field andleast 5 years of experience in program management and/or logistics/sustainment

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience with Earned Value Management and proposal management

  • Current DOD Secret security clearance with the ability to maintain programaccess

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in STEM or Management

  • Experience working logistics efforts on Global Hawk development programs

  • Previous U.S. Air Force Global Hawk customer interface/negotiation experience and experience with the GLOS Team is highly desired

  • Ability to obtain Top Secret clearance
