Northrop Grumman Mgr Engineering 3 in San Diego, California

The selected candidate will lead and manage a team of diverse engineering disciplines involved in the development activities supporting AP-418. Ideal candidate will need to have experience in the design, analysis and manufacturing of advanced composite structures, subsystem architecture & design and supplier management, through the different program phase of development, integration and test. The selected candidate will be responsible for the technical performance of the team, technical quality of data package, the verification of requirements as defined in the statement of work and the early identification of program risks and opportunities. The selected candidate will also be EVMS reporting, monitoring of program milestone to completion as scheduled, timely communication to program and IPT leadership of overall team progress and accomplishments.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor of ScienceDegree in a STEM disciplineplus 12 years' experience leading teams in the definition and execution of design activities. Experience in managingan engineering Integrated Product Team (IPT) performing contract SOW tasks with responsibility for the planning, execution, cost control, scheduling, risk management, and technical performance.

Candidate must hold a current active DOD Secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

Masters degree, Current active Program Access (SAP)
