Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a JuniorField Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in San Diego, CA.
The selected candidate will travel to multiple locations and work hand in hand with our customers. This position will require the ability to travel up to 50% and work a variety of shifts.
Manage the assembly, configuration, integration, and delivery of networked hardware ground systems ranging in complexity from a single rack of equipment to more than 40 racks.
Once the systems are deployed and running the Field Engineer will help troubleshoot, upgrade and maintain systems.
This role requires an individual with a good understanding of electronic components combined with an aptitude for Project Management, and excellent customer relation skills.
The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, collaborative/team settings across all levels.
Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university
Must have at least2 years of experience in a STEM related field or0 years of experience with a Master's Degree in a STEM related field.
An active in-scope DoD Top Secret Clearance
The ability to obtain program access
Ability to support up to 50% travel and work a variety of shifts

Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
Understanding of electronics theories and technical principles.
Earned Value Management (EVM) or other cost management experience
Ability to clearly communicate, document and troubleshoot technical issues
