Northrop Grumman Jr.Cyber Systems Administrator w/TS/SCI clearance in San Diego, California

Maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network administrators. Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products. Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery. Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources. Ancillary duties may include setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocating mass storage space.

Basic Qualifications: To be considered for this position candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • STEM degree with 3 years experience

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • Possess a certifiedIAT level II certification

  • Systems administration experience with Unix/Linux

  • Experience with DHCP, DNS and maintaining DoD STIG compliance

  • Experience in security and network/distributed computing concepts, BASH and shell scripting Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated development experience supporting a tailored agile development model
