Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems located inSan Diego, CAhas an immediate opening for a Test Conductor 2, GH mission data center engineer.

Integration and Test at Northrop Grumman is looking for a junior test conductor to support our exciting Global Hawk program. The engineer would work in a team of test and data acquisition engineers to complete software testing in the labs and support flight test operations and data handling and processing. San Diego is the Northrop Grumman Center of Excellence for Unmanned systems so there are also opportunities in the future to support many other unmanned test programs, from mature systems like Firescout to newer programs like Tern.

Essential Functions:

GH data test conductor responsible for:

-Lab Hotbench instrumentation and data system hardware and software and handling and processing of collected data.

-Mission Data Center hardware and software and configuration management including telemetry, intercom and networking hardware.

-Flight test data shadowing events and consequent data handling and processing.

Background with instrumentation and mission data center processing preferred. Experience with networks preferred.

Work requires flexible hours(possible nights/weekends)

Basic Qualifications:

  • Department of Defense ActiveSecret clearance or higher

  • Bachelor's degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math)

  • 1+ years' experience in a test environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with instrumentation data recording systems, real-time display software, mission control room design and operation.
