Our San Diego, CA location is seeking a Manufacturing Gerber Technician 2 to join our team. This position will be filled on 3rd Shift, 8:00 pm - 5:30 am.
The Manufacturing Gerber Technician 2 position performs functions associated with all manufacturing operations in layup and panel fabrication.
• Handling and managing fragile composite materials. Prep, lay-up and bonding of composite products.
• Experience with layup of uni-directional and weave pre-pregs
• May report status/progress and interface with other employees and departments.
• Tooling preparation and release application.
• Utilize measurement tools such as calipers, rulers, and tape measures for fabricating hardware.
• Assist in maintaining overall shop appearance and cleanliness.
• Execute to written instructions.
A high school diploma and 2+ years' of manufacturing experience may be considered in lieu of an Associate's degree or Technical degree.
US Citizenship required
Minimum of two years of experience, working with Gerber pattern cutters and cutworks software.
Associate's degree or 2 year Technical degree and 3 years' minimum experience in a manufacturing environment.
Prefer that they also have a minimum of 1 year layup experience.
