The Systems Engineering Integration and Test team at Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is looking for you to join our team as a Engineering Technician based out of San Diego, CA.

What You'll get to Do:

As an Engineering Technician you will be taking on an exciting role as a Windows/Linux platforms and networking administrator. Join our innovative, creative, agile teams to verify requirements and design test procedures.

This technician will be expected to support in troubleshooting various issues including (but not limited to) cabling, system hardware components, software installation, networking. Must have a familiarity with computer network concepts. A Cisco IP networking experience is desired and general knowledge of system architecture is a plus. Experience with military COMSEC equipment is also a plus.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

  • 3 years of related experience

  • Experience with managing requirements in a requirements database and work with configuration change control.

  • Working knowledge of system specifications and system design documents.

  • Guide requirement verification at system level and provide traceability to the lower level requirements.

  • Working understand of TCP/IP, Cisco switches and routers, Windows Domain Controller, Linux administration

  • US citizenship

  • Must have the ability to obtain a security clearance.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Cyber Security knowledge.

  • Working knowledge of ClearQuest, and requirements database tools

  • Familiarity with computer network concepts.

  • Cisco IP networking experience is desired and general knowledge of system architecture

  • Experience with military COMSEC equipment
