Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems sector is seeking an intermediate level Requirements and Verification Engineer for the Triton Enterprise in Rancho Bernardo, San Diego CA at the Autonomous Design Center of Excellence.
The candidate will be responsible for ownership of the Triton Enterprise Requirements Baseline, developing and implementing processes and procedures for requirements verification, and management of the Requirements Database. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for performance of verification for a subset of IFC 4 Multi-Int requirements, embedding with the Test and other IPTs to perform integration, test and verification of requirements.
Management of the Triton Requirements Database in DOORS
Developing scripts in DXL or other language to automate requirements tasking
Performing Trusted Downloads to move information between classified/unclassified networks
Development of verification processes and procedures
Integration with NAVAIR customer for coordination of verification activities
Performing verification of System and Segment level requirements
Integration with responsible IPTs and test IPT to ensure verification artifacts created and delivered to meet needs of verification team
The candidate is expected to be self-motivated, professional and to possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. The selected candidate's primary work area will be within the Triton closed area.
- B.S. in STEM field and five years ofengineering experience and M.S. in STEM field and 3 years of engineering experience
-Must have an active Secret Clearance
Experience with requirements on unmanned platforms
- Understanding of requirements decomposition and flow from customer specification through WRA level
- Experience with requirements verification, preferably with NAVAIR customer
- Familiarity with requirements database tools such as DOORS
- Scripting ability DXL preferred, Python or VBA
- Experience developing procedures and desk instructions to be used by team members
