Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) has an opportunity for a Software Quality Engineer 2/3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in San Diego, CA.

This role may be filled at a level 2 or a level 3.

Basic Qualifications for a level 2:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electromechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or Software related STEM field.

  • Two+ years of relevant experience (0+ years with a relevant Master's Degree).

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment or mission assurance.

  • Experience working with C++, Ada, or C software language.

  • Must have a currently active DOD secret clearance and be able to receive program special access clearance.

Basic Qualifications for a level 3:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electromechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or Software related STEM field.

  • Five+ years of relevant experience (3+ years with a relevant Master's Degree or 0+ years with a relevant PhD).

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment or mission assurance.

  • Experience working with C++, Ada, or C software language.

  • Must have a currently active DOD secret clearance and be able to receive program special access clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active special access clearance.

  • Experience working in software quality.

  • Experience with ClearCase/ClearQuest configuration management tool.
