Our San Diego, CA site is in search of a Data Management Controller 2/ 3 to join our growing team and p rovide a variety of basic clerical support to configuration management operations.
Roles and Responsibilities
Support the Quality Engineering team in the preparation and timely submittal of End Item Data Packages to external customers for space and aerospace flight hardware.
Generate and validate detailed as-designed versus as-built configuration data to ensure that manufactured flight hardware meets contractual configuration requirements.
Review electronic and paper records from manufacturing and procurement to ensure material traceability compliance to engineering, quality and configuration requirements.
Collect, analyze and report work-in-process test data and validate test completion status.
Analyze data and prepare status reports to communicate constraints to engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, configuration and quality teams.
Gather additional supporting reports such as Dimensional Inspection Reports (DIR's) and/or First Article Inspection (FAI) Reports to validate completion status.
Engage directly with cross-functional teams (engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, quality, etc) to find real-time solutions to internal constraints and risks to external customer needs.
Basic Qualifications
Level 2
High school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of additional education and/or related experience
2+ years of relevant aerospace industry work experience required
Advanced skills gathering and analyzing data in MS Excel required
Proficiency in other MS Office applications (Word, Access, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat
Experience working within Quality Management Systems (AS9100, NADCAP, etc)
Familiarity in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
Experience working directly with internal and external customers at various levels including management
US citizenship required
Level 3
High school diploma or GED and at least 4 years of additional education and/or related experience
2+ years of relevant aerospace industry work experience required

Salary Range: $38,800 - $64,600
Salary Range 2: $47,600 - $79,300
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
