Administers, extends, negotiates and terminates standard and nonstandard contracts. Conducts proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications. Examines estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness. Prepares bids; processes specifications, progress, and other reports; advises management of contractual rights and obligations; compiles and analyzes data; and maintains historical information.
-Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
-10 years of progressive US Government contract management experience -OR- Masters with a minimum 8 years of experience.
-Must haveproficient knowledge of contract types, policies, procedures, FAR/DFARS and associated Federal Contracting regulations
-. Active DoD Top Secret Clearance
Master's degree in Business Administration
-Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to use them in informing, presenting, and negotiating to all levels of management
-Dynamic self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to function independently
-Willingness to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic program and business area leadership team
-Strong customer orientation and relationship building abilities
-Proven record of successful negotiation of complex proposals
