Start your future with a new mission, Northrop Grumman Mission Systems. Northrop Grumman Mission Systems, located in Salt Lake City , UT has an immediate need for a Maintenance Electrician 3.
Job Responsibilities include:
Repairs, constructs, installs, troubleshoots, and maintains routine electrical systems and equipment. Cuts, threads, bends, couples, and straps conduit. Cuts wire and conduit to length. Installs, repairs, or replaces switch boxes, light bulbs, plugs, sockets, light fuses, and extension cords. Disassembles motors, generators, and other equipment in preparation for repair. Troubleshoots electrical malfunctions, inspects circuits and wiring for shielding and grounding, and tests electrical equipment for safety and efficiency. Uses blueprints, drawings, layout, or other specifications, and electrical hand tools and voltage-or-amperage measuring and recording devices. Working and performing job on ladder. Confined space work. Initial safety and job-related training w/annual recertifications. Additional duties: Support maintenance team with equipment moves, snow removal, event setups and other misc. building maintenance functions.
High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years additional education and/or related experience.
UT State Journeyman electricians license.
6 years' experience in electrical installation and repair.
Ability to relay and receive information.
Collaborate in a team environment.
Prioritize and adjust tasks accordingly.
Understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines.
Perform work in an approved environment during specified work hours.
Work in external environment conditions.
Move and lift tools and equipment associated with job requirements in a safe manner.
Wear respirator and other safety gear.
Work in areas which could cause various phobias due to height or closed spaces.
Salary Range: $53,300 - $88,800
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
