Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Staff Project Manager to support the Sentinel program. This position will be located in Roy, Utah.

This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

What You’ll Get To Do:

Specific duties to include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Provide experience-based suggestions to the design teams with Logistics and Goods Movement in mind.

  • Act as the Logistics and Goods Movement focal point and subject matter expert, supporting the Segment team.

  • Support CDRL development and content required by the Segments.

  • Review and provide feedback to SDRL deliveries, work with Supplier Management Team lead to ensure execution requirements are being met and reviewing SDRLs for completeness.

  • Product movement, tracking, and visibility with the IMS (G/R).

  • Work with Segment teams to define requirements for Packaging, Handling, Storage, and Transportation of all product movements, storage and inventory management across all classification and compliance categories (HAZMAT, NWRM, etc.).

  • Prepare and manage schedules and prepares status reports on the health of the projects.

  • Identify risks and opportunities, and coordinate with Segment teams to mitigate and retire risks.

  • Develop and maintain trade studies to include reviewing & updating assessments by preparing Basis of Estimates (BOEs), performing quality checks on all proposal submittals, and attending design reviews.

  • Evaluate issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction goals and objectives.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment, work autonomously under general direction and will demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Review and align tasks to Program Statement of Work

  • Understand and adhere to master program and project plans and schedules.

  • Identify, distribute, track, and complete program requirements.

  • Adhere to all internal processes, policies, and applicable industry standards.

  • Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) work challenges to mitigate KPIs.

  • Develop and adhere to budget baselines utilizing Earned Value Management (EVM) or similar cost & schedule control.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • A Bachelors degree with 12+ Years of related experience; A Masters degree with 10+ Years of related experience; or a PhD with 8+ Years of related experience.

  • Must possess an active DOD Secret clearance.

  • US Citizenship, with the ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP).

  • Experience supporting Sentinel (GBSD) Program.

  • Experience presenting to upper-level management.

  • Proficient on MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

  • Program Management Professional (PMP) Certification

  • Developing Basis of Estimates (BOEs)

  • Microsoft Project Experience

  • System Test & Evaluation Experience

  • Design-to-kit Experience

Salary Range: $117,800 - $176,600

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
