Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking an Electrical Computer Aided Design (eCAD) Process and Product Owner . This position can be located in either Roy, UT or Huntsville, AL and supports the Sentinel program.

What You’ll Get To Do:
Development, integration and documentation of electrical engineering design tools in support of Model Based Engineering and the “digital data thread”.
Will function as Product Owner and Technical Lead for the development, testing and implementation of the Siemens Capital, and Xpedition electrical engineering tools to include the development of the electrical engineering digital-thread and digital twin, along with Teamcenter electrical design lifecycle.
Candidate will collaborate with electrical, mechanical, components, materials, manufacturing, and other engineering disciplines to support the design of weapon systems and equipment under an overarching Systems Engineering and full lifecycle management framework.
Working within the IDE team the candidate will utilize extensive design experience to actively participate with key stakeholders to understand and develop strategies based on customer requirements and technology trends.
Perform tool testing.
Assist with creating and maintaining product documentation.
Support the electrical design tool users and assist with configuring new processes when required.
Position also requires you interface with multiple disciplines, organizations and stakeholders in support of tool standup and deployment.
Candidate will demonstrate general knowledge of Systems Engineering, multi-generational program system and/or multi-generational program subsystem development.
Working knowledge of Systems Engineering Modeling Tools such as Cameo or Rhapsody.
Applicant is expected to work independently to provide innovative technical solutions to a wide range of technical challenges.
Candidate will bring a strong ability to comprehend, implement and adhere to documented processes with an inherent ability to make sound decisions.
Candidate will professionally represent the Strategic Deterrent Systems and Sentinel organizations while interacting with internal and external contacts including suppliers, senior personnel and executive leadership on matters requiring coordination between organizations and sectors.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
Job Qualifications:
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Science in Electrical Engineering with 12 years of experience, 10 years with Masters, or 8 years with PHD.
Must be a US citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance with an investigation date within the last 6 years, with the ability to obtain a DoD Top Secret security clearance and Special Access Program (SAP) Clearance.
10 years of experience in aerospace electrical design.
2 years of experience in working within an Agile project management environment using JIRA or similar Agile tool.
3 years of experience leading a team in a technical leadership role
2 years development and maintenance experience using Siemens Xpedition and/or Capital eCAD tools.
Experience with Siemens NX, and Siemens Teamcenter or similar
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Experience using CPLM
Familiarity with Strategic Deterrence, Product Lifecycle Management, and cloud computing
Knowledge of System Engineering principles and requirements management
Certification in one or more of these designations is desired: Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) and Project Management Professional (PMP)
Current Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.
Current DoD Secret or Top Secret clearance
Configuration management experience.
Experience supporting multiple Model Based Systems Engineering efforts in order to integrate ECAD tools with Systems Engineering modeling tools such as Cameo.
Experience interacting directly with IT & Engineering SMEs (Subject Matter Experts) and senior stakeholders in both internal and customer leadership teams in a manner that builds confidence in the product team and strengthens stakeholder relationships.
Huntsville, AL pay range:
Min: $163,200
Max: $244,800
Salary Range: $147,700 - $221,500
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
