Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking to fill the ICBM Sustainment Business Unit, Manager of Business Management 3, based out of our Roy, UT location .

The ICBM Sustainment (ICBM-S) Business Unit (BU) Business Manager will have accountability for all business management equities within the Business Unit including EVMS implementation, program and business unit financial reporting and analysis, quarterly financial Estimate at Complete (EAC) analyses, staffing assessment, planning and execution, and dotted line oversight of Contracts Administration, Property, and Pricing and Cost Estimating functions in support of Business Unit objectives.
ICBM-S BU Business Manager responsibilities include :
Ensure people, processes and infrastructure is in place to deliver timely and actionable business and financial information to Business Unit and Division decision-makers
Collaborate directly with the BU Director, their staff, and cross-functional partners to provide strategic business insight on pursuits, business management process controls, and performance management
Lead a multi-functional team of subordinate managers and professionals to deliver financial data and identify contractual and financial opportunities and risks
Influence and support the development of business strategy through deliverables such as monthly financial keyline forecasts and sensitivities, Annual Operating Plan, and Long-Range Strategic Plan.
Coordinate cost and schedule analyses and preparation of reports to ensure contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon cost and schedule parameters and government cost control guidelines
Manage risks with multiple contract types from both an execution and financial perspective
Provide financial business analysis and reporting with the ability to clearly communicate with senior management as it relates to financial program status and analyses
Support internal and external financial reporting, compliance, and audits.
Engage in and review financial analysis in areas such as forecasting, budgeting, cost analysis, and operational performance
Mentor and develop Business Management staff to drive innovation, create efficiencies, and develop analytics

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
Job Qualifications:
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from accredited University with 8 years of relevant experience in defense, aerospace, or other related industry, or Master's degree with 6 years of relevant experience in defense, aerospace, or other related industry.
Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope.
3 years in a formal management position
2+ years leading and/or managing complex business management teams in a fully compliant or deliberately tailored EVMS environment
Experience in program finance and accounting to include EAC management and Earned Value Management
Experience in MS Office suite, specifically Excel
Prior experience preparing and presenting financial analysis to management
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
MBA, master’s degree in business related field or STEM field
Prior experience developing program forecasts and Annual Operating Plans
Experience with ICBM related programs and products
Ability to make tough, risk-based decisions and steer decisions based on evolving information
Proficiency in SAP, COBRA, and COGNOS
Understanding of DOD contracts, government Cost Accounting Standards, and the FAR
Experience in schedule-sensitive and change-intensive environments
Active DoD Secret level security clearance. US citizenship is a prerequisite.

Salary Range: $129,000 - $193,400
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
