Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Construction Engineer . This position will be located in Roy, UT in support of the Sentinel Program . This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
What You'll Get To Do:
Effectively process subcontractor submittals in accordance with both the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and the Sentinel Infrastructure protocols
Be very familiar with the quality inspections process
Be very familiar with the site-specific Accident Prevention Plan (APP)
Closely track the construction project schedule
Interface with customer representative as required
Maintain a daily construction log
Encourage, lead, and/or participate in staff training and development

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
2 years of experience with Bachelors in Science; 0 years with Masters Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or Engineering Management; 4 additional years of relevant experience can be considered in lieu of degree.
U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP).
Documentable training and field experience on construction products including industrial, aerospace or defense projects.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Experience in large scale construction management or construction trade preferably on Department of Defense and/or missile contracts.
Must be able to present a professional demeanor while dealing with both subcontractors, clients and peers.
Ability to process a large volume of construction submittals and Requests for Information (RFI).
Prior experience on large-scale projects with tight deadlines.
Prior experience on projects with limited work space available.
Salary Range: $66,600 - $99,800
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
