Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a AVE Requirements, Interfaces and Architecture Manger 3. This position will be located in Roy, Utah and will support the Sentinel (GBSD) program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
The Sentinel Aerospace Vehicle Equipment (AVE) Requirements, Interfaces and Architecture (RIA) Manager will be responsible for both programmatic and technical leadership of the AVE RIA team. The lead will report directly to the AVE Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) Director, frequently interact with customers, lead RIA artifact development and coordinate with stakeholders across multiple IPTs. The RIA work scope includes requirement, verification, interfaces, and architecture development for the AVE Segment.
What You'll Get To Do:
Lead the RIA teams to develop and mature the AVE level artifacts along with comprehensive oversite of all AVE Segment RIA artifacts.
Specification development, verification planning and execution, interface requirement specifications and design definition, and architecture modeling.
Cost account management activities.
Artifacts are to be developed according to program Statement of Work and program/company governance.
Developing Contract Deliverables (CDRLs), preparing for the AVE level technical reviews/milestones (e.g., CDR, FCA, SQVR) and supporting the lower-level IPT milestones.
The RIA lead will demonstrate strong leadership skills. He/she will have a track record as an effective communicator and problem solver who is able to develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. The candidate will demonstrate a commitment to ethics and integrity, and the capability to innovate while challenging traditional ways of doing business. This candidate will have the ability to build diverse and inclusive teams with high levels of engagement. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required, and the ideal candidate will have demonstrated success collaborating and leading engineering teams through the full life cycle of a development program (including modern digital and model-based practices and methods).
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in STEM and at least 8 years of relevant professional experience, including experience with SE&I processes and multiple levels of integration
3+ years in a formal lead/management position
Active DoD Secret Clearance adjudicated in the last 6 years with ability to obtain SAP
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Active Top Secret Clearance
Experience with MBSE
Experience through full cycle of a development program
1+ yeas of technical depth in at least one of the AVE Element areas or AVE Segment
Salary Range: $152,100 - $190,100
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
