Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Mission Assurance Manager 3 to provide support to our Roy, Utah , Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD-Sentinel) team. This leadership role will provide enabling support to MA functions across the program to ensure mission success.

Things you will get to do:

  • Manage Quality Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) deliverables including Sentinel Program Quality Plans and Government Industry Data Exchange Program (GIDEP) alerts;

  • Lead preparation and execution of Program Preventive and Corrective Action Board (PCAB);

  • Develop and maintain Sentinel Program Quality Metrics;

  • Provide Design Assurance oversight to engineering designs to ensure compliance to quality requirements and standards;

  • Support leadership with Sentinel Customer Corrective Action Requests;

  • Ensure compliance to AS9100 Quality Management System requirements

  • Determine the required resources necessary to execute your scope of work

  • Cost/schedule management

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant professional experience or an additional 4 years of related experience in lieu of degree

  • 3 years in a formal lead/management position

  • Active Secret clearance

  • U.S. Citizenship eligible for Special Access Program Clearance

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to collaborate in a team environment.

  • Ability to prioritize and adjust tasks to accomplish project results.

  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and/or accomplish them simultaneously.

  • Active Top Secret Clearance.

  • Experience in System Engineering.

  • Experience with ICBM Systems


Salary Range: $138,400 - $207,600

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
