Northrop Grumman Space System's is seeking a SDS Industry & Academia Integration Project Manager .

This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program.

What You'll Get To Do:

Coordinate with Strategy & Operations, Government Relations, HR, and the NGSP Talent Working Group to identify engineering leads and support within the Division as needed to advance the SDS and local Northrop Grumman talent development strategies with local partners

Support Division Strategy organization in identifying and tracking existing relationships held by Engineering team members with local boards, organizations, etc. and coordinating a unified approach to building and maintaining connections in alignment with our strategy

Participate in One NG Utah team to understand and connect leaders across the local area in support of established partnership and Engineering academic partnership efforts

Support any affiliations, board memberships & etc. per Division strategy

Support Division UR&R hiring lead on hiring events as needed

Develop relationships with diversity and veteran organizations in technical disciplines, supportive of pipeline development objectives.

Facilitate connections with appropriate Engineering/Division representatives to influence curriculum development, credentialing programs, etc. as needed to address talent gaps

Coordinate with DHT UR&R rep to identify and facilitate engineering support for hiring events as needed and inform the strategy behind programs and universities to partner with for skill requirements

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Qualifications:

This position would be filled at level 3 or level 4

You'll Bring These Qualifications for the level 3:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 6 years of experience or Master's Degree with 4 years of experience; 4 additional years of experience will be accepted in lieu of a Bachelor's degree

  • Knowledge of project management fundamentals

  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Clearance

  • Prior experience performing moderately complex professional tasks

  • Experience developing solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity

  • Experience creating metrics, data analysis and delivering results

  • Excellent communication skills with experience delivering presentations to internal & external customers

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)

These Qualifications would be nice to have:

  • Proficient in Tableau or similar tool

  • Proficient with data analysis

  • Experience using BOSS, Taleo or similar Staffing tools

  • Prior experience in university relations, recruiting, or education/training experience

  • Technical experience or experience working in collaboration with technical experts (for example, working as a project manager for technical projects)

  • Ability to present to all levels of leadership including senior executives

  • Strong project management skills managing multiple stakeholders and competing priorities

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance
