Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Systems Engineering Program Manager (S02). This position will be located in Roy, Utah and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force's sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure. What you will get to do: The incumbent will be required to work closely with the Department Managers and Section Managers to meet all current and projected staffing needs and challenges. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Represent Directorates in Weekly Staffing Meetings - Strategize with the Directorate Leadership Team to implement solutions for all staffing challenges. Attend staffing meetings, reporting status to Directors and VPs. Pulls data, prepares charts, affirms status, projects status and go forward plan. Strategize with the Directorate Leadership Team to implement solutions for all staffing challenges Will be responsible for hiring Engineers across all disciplines Manage and maintain all metrics associated with Directorate staffing Assist hiring managers with Talent Acquisition as necessary Supplement efforts to source candidates for open positions Participate as an interviewer during the hiring process Establish and manage hiring teams that will support hiring events / job fairs Track all new hires and employee release information Attend hiring events/job fairs as necessary Monitor onboarding status of new employees Follow-up with candidates as necessary Attend staffing meetings, reporting status to Directors and VPs Manage and maintain all metrics associated with Directorate staffing. Support UR&R activities as POC - Coordinates with program and FHR on SOO goals as defined by leadership and runs point on this activity for directorate. Serve as a liaison between hiring managers, HR and TA. - ensuring all decision makers are addressing staffing concerns in a timely manner. Coordinate/reconcile/update POST and Taleo - Full-time job when we are releasing on one program, ramping on another, and building a pipeline for attrition simultaneously. Must understand the time sensitivity and reasons for accuracy in both tools. Understand the compliance piece of Taleo and can help steer conversations to avoid non-compliant staffing behavior. Track all new hires and employee release information. Monitor onboarding status of new employees. Follow-up with candidates as necessary. Will maintain a database of those prospects and reach out to do first screen at high level. Screening to include other possible vacancy needs within RT&E. Late to Need resolution - Experience on resolving LTNs, develop trusted playbook of recruiting activities. Agile methods to generate candidate activity. Proactive addressing the "why" and devise quick action, i.e. understand if a late to need was advertised with the wrong job title, given with an unrealistic skill expectation, or level of experience that is not accurate with the marketplace. Must understand the market place and environment we're now in on achieving our hiring targets and work proactively to close LTNs.
