Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a ICD Systems Engineer to join the Product team. This position will be located in Roy, Utah and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. Learn more about the GBSD program here. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force's sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure.
What you will get to do:
The Interface Engineer will focus on Interfaces and use functional analysis and Model-based Systems Engineering (MBSE) processes to develop interface control documentation. This individual will collaborate with both internal and external teams (developers, system integrators, system testers, and system requirements engineers) to support delivery of quality design products. This individual will also maintain technical cognizance of interdependencies in support of maturing Interface Control Documents, Interface Requirements Specifications, and Interface Design Documents to identify and resolve gaps. This individual will incorporate cross-IPT feedback to support the development and approval of the products.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
Bachelor's of Science Degree OR higher Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Systems Engineering
Active DoD Secret clearance, adjudicated within last 6 years
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Missile engineering experience
Support equipment engineering experience
Hardware or electrical equipment design
