Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Staff Full Stack Developer. This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. Learn more about the GBSD program here.
Looking for a highly skilled computer programmer who is comfortable with both front and back end programming. Full Stack Developers are responsible for developing and designing front end web architecture, ensuring the responsiveness of applications and working alongside graphic designers for web design features, among other duties.
Full Stack Developers will be required to see out a project from conception to final product, requiring good organizational skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities for Lead Scrum Master:
Lead the scrum team and mentoring junior scrums in using Agile methodology and scrum practices
Oversee and ensure junior scrums maintain high level agile methodology and scrum practices
Helping the product owner and development team to achieve customer satisfaction
Lead the scrum and development teams in self-organization
Remove impediments and coach the scrum team on removing impediments
Help the scrum and development teams to identify and fill in blanks in the Agile framework
Resolve conflicts and issues that occur
Help the scrum team achieve higher levels of scrum maturity
Support the product owner and provide education where needed
The ideal candidate will have:
The ability to analyze and think quickly and to resolve conflict
Knowledgeable in techniques to fill in gaps in the scrum
The ability to determine what is scrum and what is not
Experience with successful Agile techniques
The ability to work with and lead a team
Strong communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills

Self-motivation and ability to stay focused in the middle of distraction

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
This role will sit in Roy, Utah when the campus opens which is anticipated to be June 2020. Until this time, you may temporarily office out of Ogden or Promontory facilities.
High School Diploma/GED and 18 years of Software Development Experience OR a Bachelor's Degree adn 14 years of Software Development Experience OR a Master's Degree and 12 years of Software Development Experience.
Prior experience on a scrum team
The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required.
