Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Guidance System Test Architect. This position will be located in Roy, Utah. The selected candidate will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. Learn more about the GBSD program here.
What You'll Get To Do:
Responsibility for verification flowdown/traceability and development of Guidance System and Power & Distribution System test plans and as well as verification for the lower level configuration items for verification consistency and alignment. Role also ensures alignment with the AVE and adjacent subsystems test plans. Support verification and validation plan development to align with the mission and customer expectation. Develop verification/validation strategy approach for schedule efficient execution with acceptable program risk posture. Support development of SV verification and test plan based on mission RVAM and lower-level verification approach. Support development and execution of key critical validation activities for risk mitigation. Support to verification activities to ensure RVAM are consistent with test plan. Knowledge of AVE testing and verification along with AVE HWIL testbed development activities is preferred.

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
BS degree in STEM field with 14 years experience, or MS in STEM field with 12 years or PHD with 9 years experience
Experience with system testing
Holds a current DOD Secret Clearance and able to obtain SAP clearance
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Familiarity with aircraft or space guidance, navigation and control systems
Familiarity with unit or system environmental testing
