Northrop Grumman GBSD - Sr. Principal Systems Engineer in Roy, Utah

The GBSD System Control team is looking for a System Engineering Architect to lead the Requirements and Verification Architecture Model

What you'll get to do:

-Serve as the technical authority for MBSE strategy and implementation over the Requirements and Verification Architecture Model

-Responsible for leadership and oversight of the Requirements and Verification Architecture Model customer deliveries

  • Would conduct integration readiness reviews with segment architecture teams in order to gauge model governance achieved

-Coordinates across multiple IPTs to ensure development of integrated GBSD requirements verification planning and definition

  • Coordinate with sub-integrated product architecture teams for compliance with contractual SOW and established program model governance

  • Coordinate with integrated product teams for establishing content within the architecture

-Define and execute model integration processes, tools, and techniques

-Be key stakeholder in the development and implementation of model governance throughout the GBSD program

-Engage in formal and informal mentoring to support knowledge transfer and talent development

  • Maintaining quality of product (metrics lead for health of product)


Basic qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in an engineering or related technical field

Minimum 9 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 7 Years with Masters; or 4 Years with PhD

3+ years experience MBSE experience

1+ years experience with MBSE tools such as Cameo, Rhapsody, Sparx EA, DOORS, Teamcenter

1+ years experience as team lead and team development

Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written

Must be a U.S. citizen with a current active Secret Clearance or above

Preferred qualifications:

Experience with DoDAF standards and methods

Experience with large systems

Experience with DOORS requirements management and verification

Experience with execution of verification for large systems

Aware of impact of attributes within requirement model helps support sustainment, manufacturing and production

Must be a U.S. citizen with a current active Top Secret Clearance or above
