Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Nuclear Surety Thread Lead . This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. What you will get to do:
Responsibilities to include, but are not limited to the following:
Customer coordination and interfacing with Product IPTs to support systems engineering activities of the GBSD weapon system
The thread lead is responsible for integrating vertically and horizontally among all the key stakeholders to ensure a consistent vision and implementation for the system within that thread.
Ownership of a portion of system requirements, allocation to lower levels, R vs C, verification planning, and analysis planning and execution in a Model based Systems Engineering (MBSE) environment.
Support the planning and executing the EMD SOW, proactively interfacing with other SE&I organizations and GBSD IPTs to ensure successful allocation and verification of requirements.

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80A. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
You'll bring these qualifications:
BS degree (or higher) in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM)
A minimum 9 years of related experience with a BS; 7 with a Master's; or 4 with a PhD
Active Secret clearance with an in-scope investigation date within the last 6 years
Ability to lead a Working Group of 6-10 engineers and manage a small support team
Strong Systems Engineering skills (3+ years)
Experience in verification planning
Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Requirement management (1+ year)
These qualifications would be nice to have:
Experience with ICBM programs
Experience with nuclear surety (1+ year)
Extensive MBSE experience (3+ years)
Experience with DOORS and CAMEO tools
Active GBSD special access clearance (PAR)
Active Top Secret Clearance
Good leadership and communication skills with the ability to brief Segment, Program and Customer leadership
