Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Requirements Management Engineer - Principal Systems Engineer. This position will be located in Roy, Utah and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. Learn more about the GBSD program here. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force's sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure.
What You'll Get To Do:
Lead the requirements thread related to deployment and transition
Customer coordination and interfacing with Product IPTs to support systems engineering activities relating to the deployment of the GBSD weapon system and the transition from Minuteman III
Responsible for integrating vertically and horizontally among all the key stakeholders to ensure a consistent vision and implementation for the system within that thread.
Ownership of a portion of system requirements, allocation to lower levels, Requirements vs Capability, verification planning, and analysis planning and execution in a Model based Systems Engineering (MBSE) environment.
Support the planning and executing the Engineering, Manufacturing and Development (EMD) Statement of Work (SOW), proactively interfacing with other Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) organizations and GBSD IPTs to ensure successful allocation and verification of requirements.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline plus 5 years of relevant experience; or a Master's Degree in a STEM discipline plus 3 years of relevant work experience; or a PhD in a STEM discipline plus 0 years of experience.
Active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret clearance with an investigation date within the last 6 years
Strong Systems Engineering skills, with experience in execution of one or more Specialty engineering disciplines
Systems Engineering experience including requirements management and requirement verification
Active TS clearance
Experience with verification execution
Model Based Systems Engineering
Systems Requirements Analysis (CAMEO, DOORS)
Good leadership and communication skills with the ability to brief Segment, Program and Customer leadership
