Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Principal Test Conductor for Test Operations. This position will be located in Roy, Utah. The selected candidate will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. Learn more about the GBSD program here.
What You'll Get To Do:
The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Systems Test team supporting the Air Force's Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. In this role, the candidate will support lab operations of Hardware in the Loop test benches, maintaining lab and test asset configurations, Integration and test of sub-systems, trouble shoot issues, and support design/development of test assets and all test activities. Familiar with basic electronic test equipment.
A successful candidate will work in a dynamic people-focused environment where he/she will interact with users, customers and other engineers. Oversees the operational aspects of engineering tests and serves as liaison to program, engineering and line management. Reviews status of test requirements, manages schedules and prepares reports. Selects and supervises technicians during test. Assesses anomalies and develops resolutions to documented procedures in conjunction with Test and Quality Engineering.
Implement best practices and demonstrates good hardware configuration management and tool accountability
Read and support creation of drawings, blueprints, and diagrams during test planning efforts, in addition to supporting test execution
Primary work locations will be in Roy, Utah with occasional travel to support test activities.

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
-Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent and 6 years additional education and/or related experience
-Prior experience in an integration, production, manufacturing or test environment
-Experience with common hand tools and test equipment found in an integration, production, manufacturing or test environment
-US Citizenship with an Active Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 5 years)
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
US Citizenship with an Active Top Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 5 years)
Prior experience as a Technician possessing skills in the following areas:
Using basic electronic test equipment, Python Scripting for test bench automation, Test Operations and Conduct
Utilize MS products; Word, Excel, and Visio.
Effectively communicate issues and help to provide solutions
Travel is expected up to 10% of the time.
