Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer. This position will be located in Roy, Utah and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. Learn more about the GBSD program here.
What you will get to do:
Assist with developing the MBSE strategy and implementation over the Requirements and Verification Architecture Model
Would conduct integration readiness reviews with segment architecture teams in order to gauge model governance achieved
Coordinates across multiple IPTs to ensure development of integrated GBSD requirements verification planning and definition
Coordinate with sub-integrated product architecture teams for compliance with contractual SOW and established program model governance
Coordinate with integrated product teams for establishing content within the architecture
Execute model integration processes, tools, and techniques
Be key stakeholder in the development and implementation of model governance throughout the GBSD program
Engage in formal and informal mentoring to support knowledge transfer and talent development
Maintaining quality of product (metrics lead for health of product)Basic Qualifications

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in an engineering or related technical field
5 Years with Bachelors in Science; 3 Years with Masters; 0 Years with PhD.
Experience with MBSE tools such as Cameo, Rhapsody, Sparx EA
Experience with DOORS and TeamCenter
Must be a U.S. citizen with a current active Secret Clearance with re-investigation date of 6 years or less.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
US Citizenship with an Active Top Secret Clearance or higher with re-investigation date of 6 years or less.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
Experience with DoDAF standards and methods
Experience with large systems
Experience with DOORS requirements management and verification
Experience with execution of verification for large systems
Aware of impact of attributes within requirement model helps support sustainment, manufacturing, and production
