Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Principal AVE Requirements Lead. This position will be located in Roy, Utah and will be part of the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program (Minuteman III ICBM replacement) development contract. Learn more about the GBSD program here.
Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force's sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure.
What you will get to do:
The selected candidate will possess strong leadership, systems engineering skills.
Requirements Lead will be engaged across the AVE segment to ensure proper requirements implementation/change processing and allocation.
The candidate will have demonstrated background in systems engineering principles, tools, and applications.
Responsibilities are inclusive of baseline control management, metrics reporting, and overall milestone readiness.
This includes working directly with the weapon system engineering team and the element engineering teams.
Frequent inter-organization, outside customer, communication is required to ensure success of the effort.
Must possess the ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment, including critical thinking and technical problem solving skills.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
Bachelor's degree in STEM related discipline
Expereince with DOORS
Experience with SE requirements analysis, trade studies, design solutions, architecture development
Active DoD Secret clearance granted within 6 years.
Master's degree in STEM related discipline
Proficient with Teamcenter
Proficient with CAMEO
Active DoD Top Secret clearance
Prior experience in Aerospace industry
Prior experience with requirements, design, or manufacturing of large vehicle
Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills
Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite - Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word
