Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Project Management , this position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program TST department.

What You'll Get To Do:

Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

Oversees and manages operational aspects of ongoing Training Devices Sub-IPT projects and serves as liaison to program management and planning, project teams, and Training Devices Sub-IPT management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

Provides project and process support to the Training Systems Team for Sub-IPT operations and compliance, including process and configuration management, knowledge management, source data management, scheduling/IMS/IMP compliance, CDRL/SDRL compliance, and Quality.

Serves as Project Manager in the Training Devices Sub-IPT and collaborates with Training Systems Team Sub-IPTs according to demand for coordination on project integration, configuration/change management, risk and opportunities management, and Quality requirements.

Supports and executes technical reporting and completion status to meet schedule and technical objectives.

Supports the Training Devices Sub-IPT in preparation of project execution plans and identification of appropriate technical and business resources required. Support with management of tracking of status of technical projects, metrics, project remediation and ongoing compliance goals.

Manages and supports technical and process documentation for effective presentations regarding program plans, roadmaps, and project task/site dependencies, and impact to critical path.

Maintains configuration control of program schedule/IMS/IMP, technical project task/site timelines and milestones, as needed.

Conducts themselves in a timely, effective, and professional manner as part of the Training Systems Team and Enterprise Program.

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications for level 2:

• Bachelor's degree with 3 years of related experience, or 1 year of experience with a Master's

• Project management experience

• Familiarity with technical and business administration concepts, procedures, and practices

• Strong ability to collaborate in a team structure, define problems, collect and analyze data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

• Active Secret clearance

Basic Qualifications for level 3:

• Bachelor's degree with 5 years of related experience, or 3 years of experience with a Master's

• Project management experience

• Familiarity with technical and business administration concepts, procedures, and practices

• Strong ability to collaborate in a team structure, define problems, collect and analyze data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

• Active Secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Project management with specific experience in Federal and/or Defense contracting

• Familiarity of Agile or SCRUM processes
