Northrop Grumman is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer . The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Space System team supporting the Air Force's Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. This will include development, production and deployment of Launch Equipment Hardware and systems for each weapon system facility. The selected candidate will work in a dynamic people-focused environment where he/she will interact with users, customers and other engineers.
This includes the following duties and responsibilities:
Designing electrical boxes, cables and EMI vault enclosures, built to print by subcontractors/suppliers
Research, plan, design, analyze and test electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks
Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems
Preparation and presentation of reports, briefings, design documents (drawings and specifications) and interface with customers.
This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. Learn more about the GBSD program here.

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
Bachelor's of Science degree in a STEM(Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) discipline and 2 years of of experience; OR 0 years with a Master's of Science degree in a STEM(Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) discipline
Active Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 6 years)
Design experience with harness, cabling and conduit in military/aerospace applications
Experience performing FEMAP (Finite Element Modeling and Postprocessing) analysis for electronics box designs
